Chirping
Last winter my one hen suffered frost bite to her feet after something broke into the pen and she escaped. (Her mama and one sister were not so lucky). Her and her one sister were found on my porch standing in snow.
Anyway I rushed them both indoors. My red hen Penny only had superficial frost bite and obtained no permanent damage. Trevor (the white hen) Was not so lucky. She lost both feet to frost bite.
She gets along just fine and even lays.
My concern is for her this winter. Should I have her inside again this winter or just be sure she has enough heat?
