Chicken with possible coon bite

Hi, we had a hen get bit by some animal, possibly a coon. Her comb has been swollen for a week and her earlobe is a gumball size.
The strange thing is that the wound is very small. But she is having neurological problems, shaky head, can't pecks straight, and falling over.
What could be causing these problems?
I read a journal article that a hen in India was reported to get rabies from a wild dog bite.
What else would be causing her neurological symptoms though?

Inner ear damage. You wrote her ear is swollen.
Can you post pictures of her ear and comb?
