I have a bird that had been through who knows what but she did have some severe behaviors. I would say isolate her and handle her a lot. Then reintroduce her slowly to the flock. I feel like a leash might increase the aggression. I don't necessarily know about BSLs but I have a red sexlink who is one of the sweetest birds. I also agree with maybe rehoming her to find a better fitting flock. Good luck!

Being on a leash would be better than our little quarentine area though, and we have never intentionally killed a chicken before. We do not know how old she is (We think she is at least 3) so I'm not sure she'd taste that great.
She is only causing trouble with four birds, Marshmallow, Breeze, Whitney Henston, and Caramel. She has attempted to 'fake mate' with Marsha, Breeze, and Whitney and ripped out part of Caramel's beard, though she did peck Red in the butt once because she pushed Ember away from the food she (Red) was eating. Red is in charge of Ember though

I've got a pullet (about 11-12 weeks) named Chicken Surprise. I named her that because I was hatching some BSL eggs I had bred for and I get an egg that has a yellow chick in it, not a black one. I accidentally mixed one of my main flock eggs with my BSL hatching eggs. She is a Buff/New Hampshire. If she had turned out to be a rooster, I would have changed her name to Mystery Meat. I'm going to keep her around for eggs and maybe some mutt breeding.

My family raise pheasants years ago and to prevent violence and even killing of other pheasants we equipped them with blinders so they couldn't see directly in front of them to attack anyone. Is there such a thing for chickens being brutal?

It probably wouldn't be hard to make her her own run/house...One chicken in a 2x5 run and the house would be easy because, one chicken. The run at that size would be movable too.

Don't feel bad. As a sexlink her good laying days were numbered. She lived a good life and now the rest of your flock will too. I know this may not help but... it gets easier. Before you know it you'll be raising those extra Roos because they fit nicely in the freezer

I know it's not fun, and not what you wanted, but I really do think this will be a positive thing for the rest of your flock. You will be surprised at the difference.

Unfortunately, chicken keeping sometimes means that we have to put one down for some reason or another. Sometimes it's illness or injury, and sometimes it's because they just don't fit into the flock for some reason or another.
