Hello! I have a question about my 6 month old Polish roo, he has an infection on both feet with the left foot worse than the right. I don't think it's bumblefoot, the bottom of his foot sorta had a pouch filled with foul smelling liquid. I drained it out and have been spraying it with Vetyrcin antimicrobial wound spray and wrapping up his feet each day. It seems better, but he's been laying down a lot. Which leads up to my question: his skin is raw from laying down and it's very dirty around his vent. I plan on cleaning around there this evening and then spraying his raw skin with the wound care spray and wrapping his side up too. Is that wise? It helped his foot, but he uses his wings to ooze around the run and I don't want to decrease his mobility further. Any advice about the foot infection would be great too.
PS. Taking him to the vet is not an option.
