Hello, fellow chicken lovers!
so my girl latte (paired with the other hen pumpkin) has been having issues for a while now. She’s been off balance, shakes/trembles when you first pick her up (it’s gotten worse), holds her wings down almost all the time and she has seizures which have also gotten a bit worse. She free ranges during the day and is in the coop at night so I can’t watch her all day but I have seen them happen one which happened today and she was on the ground almost upside down after and took her about 10 minutes to start walking around again which she is usually back up within a minute or two but this time she wouldn’t even stand until about 10 minutes. The other day she was on a perch walking and out of no where dramatically fell of and had hit against the wood as she was falling :( she still eats, drinks and forages but not as much as she used to forage. I’m looked online for an answer but I haven’t been able to find anything, I think I will try researching some more tonight. I don’t want her to suffer but she gets along okay when she isn’t having an episode so I don’t want to put her down but at the same time I’m not sure I can afford to take her to a vet since I’m sure they will want a lot of tests don’t and will probably cost upwards of $500 which I have about $500 for animal emergency’s but my parents won’t let me use it for her since it’s a chicken :( This is the thread from before: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/hen-having-seizures-please-help.1432652/#post-23642739 and here’s a picture of how she keeps her wings

Some disorders leading to seizure may be primary such as tumors, infections (bacterial, Chlamydophila, viral or fungal), heat stroke or trauma (such as flying accidents). Secondary disorders include reproductive problems, metabolic disorders, nutritional deficiencies or imbalances and toxic events.
