I am completely new to chickens (or birds in general). My first flock is 8 weeks old now. I just noticed tonight that one of my birds had a slight runny nose and let out a small sneeze. I then got paranoid and checked all the other birds who were completely fine. I suppose it's possible that she just took a drink of water and got some in her nose. But to be safe, is there anything I should watch for? Do I need to separate her from the rest of the girls? Help a new girl out please!!

She is probably fine; just keep an eye on her to make sure she isn't doing anything else strange. It is quite possible that she just took a sip of water and got some in her nose, like you said. Chickens sneeze just randomly some times though, maybe she got some dust in her nose or something. Just keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't act sickly (ie: droopy wings, dark red comb, falling asleep standing up or not standing up). That's all I can say! Hope this helped!

Thank you for responding. She does seem to be fine now. Like I said, I'm new and a bit paranoid about every little thing. I am really enjoying learning so much and getting to know my girls :)
