I'm hoping to get some advise on a injured RIR I have. A few days ago she started limping, and now the same foot has turned inward slightly. There are no marks or swelling on the leg, and my UN-professional opinion is that she sprained it at some point.
I've been adding some VitaminB to her water and keeping her in the run, instead of letting her free range, but I haven't seen any noticeable improvements, though she hasn't gotten worse either. She's also eating and drinking fine at the moment. I'm trying to decide what additional steps I should take, and at what point do I try and track down a chicken-vet.
The run she's currently in during the day is 5x10, but I do have a small 1.5 x 4 foot structure I could move her to keep her confined even more, but wasn't sure if that was the best option.
