Chicken with strange bump on her head

One of my buff orpingtons has some wierd bump/growth on her head. At first I thought it was a bee sting but it's been there for weeks so I don't know. It looks kinda crusty, maybe like a wart or something? It doesn't appear to have grown at all and it doesn't seem to be bothering her, she's acting fine and I'm pretty sure she's laying eggs so I don't think it's negatively affecting her health. What could it possibly be and should I be worried at all?

Than it can't be fowl pox. It's too cold for mosquitoes, at least here in Wisconsin it is.

If it's a wound it will heal eventually.
