My mother chickens eye is swollen shut, she has become droopy hardly eats or drinks, corza?

Can you post a picture of the eye? How long has this been going on? Does she have any sneezing or noisy breathing, or gasping? Is there any sign of a peck wound to the eye? A few respiratory disease, such as MG or coryza, can cause a swollen eye, conjunctivitis, bubbles, or pus in the eye from a sinus infection. E.coli or getting something stuck in the eye can also do this. Does the hen smell bad around the face? Most respiratory diseases will affect a flock for life. Antibiotics can sometimes treat symptoms of MG and coryza, but they do not cure the disease.

Thank you,she has no sneezing,no foul odor,no coughing,I put her on tetracycline, shes a little better today, eating alittle, drinking alittle,I put her in a box with a heat lamp and her babies are going in&out, any other suggestions,I put some silver drops in her eyes 2x also, the only antibiotics I had were tetracycline&amprolium ,any other suggestions to keep on hand?

And lots of prayer, shes so precious

The tetracycline would be more helpful for a respiratory disease. You may use plain Nesoporin or Triple Antibiotic Ointment in the eye 2-3 times a day. If there is any pus in the eye, it needs to be removed. I would try to get Tylan soluble powder from a vet if you can, since respiratory diseases (if that is what has caused the eye problem,) may well affect the chicks.
