Chicken with tail down, doesnt roost, stays in nest box.

Just washed, very very thin. Checked rest of flock, no lice.

Shes very weak and very thin, not eating or drinking when presented. Eyes closed.

Lost her during the night. So peculiar... Would be nice to know what happened to her so i can prevent the rest of the flock getting it.

Could you open her up and do a necropsy to check her crop, gizzard, and abdominal organs? It is difficult to do, but it may give you an answer.

Its a bit late to do a necropsy now. Supposed to do that max a few hours after death. So bizzare it went unnoticed.

Right i went ahead and did it. Two areas of concern are the kidneys were non exsisrant with small ball growths and the bowel was impacted with what looked like a calcified blockage with grit backed up. Heres the pictures:

what i believe are rhe kidneys. Notice the vertical pine of pollips down the spine, i do not.know what these are but are similar to the kidney area.

after clearing some grot away the bowel narrowed to the yellow calcification.

Now to search for answers, any help and advice appreciated.
