Any help would be greatly appreciated i have a 13year old silky he has had diarhea for few Months its not cocci we have had him on wheat bread and sour milk didnt work , oregano that didnt help either

Really 13 years old? That is pretty amazing itself. Poop pictures are welcome. Do you feed him any chicken feed? I would stop the other things and feed some chicken feed. Probiotics or a spoonful plain yogurt daily on his feed might be helpful. Chickens drink a lot more water in hot weather, and that can cause runny poops. Is his crop emptying overnight? Is he active and alert?

Feed him the Moro carrot soup, this helps even with bacteria resistant to antibiotics. But use only half the amount of salt, as chicken kidneys are very sensitive to it.

When did you last deworm him?

His diarrhea might even be caused by this kind of diet.

I've had good luck with raw garlic. If the problem is being caused by a bug...

When did you last deworm him?



His diarrhea might even be caused by this kind of diet.

Several years ago but we check his bowel movements and have never seen worms
