I have been using Oregano Oil for a couple years now to treat sick chickens and it works great. It's an all natural alternative to antiboitics or other stuff you may not want in your eggs or chickens. Oregano Oil has many uses and is worth keeping around both as a maintenance supplement and for emergency treatment of sick fowl. It has brought back chickens that I was about to give up on and cull so I have a lot of faith in it. Everyone should give it a try especially if they are looking for a more natural and cleaner way of taking care of their animals. I have a good supplier for it so I will post some info in the for sale section for those interested.

I had researched this a long time ago and got into the part about the essential oregano oil being caustic to a chicken. I learned one should be sure to use oregano oil or oil of oregano. Even with that, dosage is minimal at one drop per gallon of water.

I had found this thread which was helpful: https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...dosing-benefits-can-it-be-used-daily.1527452/
The oil I use has Olive Oil as the carrier oil. I don't add to water. It gets mixed with feed as a preventative or given orally as drops.

I use regularly! Now, with moisture coming in I find it helpful for respiratory. Our farm doesnt go without it! Awesome product!
