Chicken with white earlobes? HELP! PICS!

I'm glad most everybody is saying that everything looks normal. I'm going to see if I can get her pastey butt cleared up before I integrate them into the large flock.

Does anyone know how to treat chicken diharrea?

Do you have any experience with fungal infections in chickens, or how to treat them?

As far as diharrea goes, I'll clip the feathers tonight when I get home while she's sleeping to minimize stress. Does anybody know of anything that will clear up the diharrea?

Any other thoughts?

I don't, other than I was at a swap when someone had purchased a chicken and discovered it had a fungus that looked the same as what is showing in your photos. The chicken later died but I don't know if there was any other problems. PoultryHaven is the one who purchased the chicken. I will try and get with him and find out what type of fungus it was.

This to me does not look like any infection, but simply a cross of redstar and Leghorn. The comb is enormous and looks very much like a leghorn's comb, also the white earlobe makes me think so as well.

Even if not that, I believe it is simply the fact that this hen is not like a normal Redstar, and either was created by crossing Leghorn with something else, or crossed with some sort of chicken with white coloring, white earlobes, and huge combs.

I wouldn't treat her for anything at this time. The diarrhea is likely just due to a change in location (change in water, food, bacteria). As long as she's doing okay, I'd leave it be.

Comb looks like she's crossed with leghorn recent in her history. I'd even say she is half leghorn. She has a much thinner body and skinny legs to be "an average red star". Her head is narrow and nothing says blocky about her body. The earlobes looks like leghorn too, not any fungus. As for the poo, that doesnt look too bad and should clear with time. Feeding only ration will stiffen up the poo, treats and extras can make it loose.

Here's a mostly naked red star during moult with the blockier shape and more square head:

which in the above pic isn't disguised in her fluff:

I think the girl will fill out a bit but she'll probably never feel meaty or heavy. One of the things not to do when you first get birds is to treat them left and right as it can hide real problems... and really, there probably isn't any.

I checked with Poultryhaven and he said he didn't know what the fungus was called but was told to plut VetRX on it with a Q-tip. Sorry I couldn't find out more for you.
