So about a two weeks ago one of our chickens lost her balance, she was hatching eggs and when she went out she was flopping over everywhere, we thought maybe a rattler could have bitten her, we saw one close by where they hang out a day before, so we locked her up in a cage gave her food and water and the next morning she was fine.
Then a couple of days later a pullet presented the same symptoms, we locked her up too but the first days she only got worst; barely ate, wasn't drinking much; she's kind of thin. Gave her electrolytes, softened cat food, and she did start eating; her condition has changed very little... Her appetite came back, but I have to hold her up so she can eat, she at least seems to sit or lay down straight every once in a while, but mostly she flops on her side. Her poop was always ok, her coloring was never pale, just wondering what this could be and if she might recover. Gave her some antibiotics and they seemed to help.
Any clue?
