Chicken won’t go into coop!!

I finally had to lock mine in the coop for a few days, and then they all figured it out. My new ones started in the tractor, then the main 2000 sq ft area enclosed with electric netting with the older girls. Food and water was in the coop, and they would go in there during the day no problem. However, they were trying to roost on top of the enclosed winter run connected to the coop instead of in the coop with the older birds. Rain or shine, they stayed up there. Not so great of a place with our owl population, and when the weather was bad, they acted like it was my fault they were wet and cold. I lured them in at feeding time, and closed the door. I made some enemies that day, but the coop and run are plenty large enough for everyone. Kept everyone, new and old, in there for 5 days. They figured out that was the place to sleep.
