Chicken won't close beak!!!!

My mother contacted a good friend whose raised chickens for forever and he confirmed she has wry neck. She's eating and drinking but he says she's most likely not going to pull through. Thank you for all of your help guys and I'll keep everything updated

You mention that her her bottom jaw is swollen - can you get photos of that? Swelling of the jaw, I don't associate with Wry Neck, but the other symptoms you describe I do.

Wry Neck is a symptom - it can be caused by trauma/injury to head, vitamin deficiency, genetics and disease like Marek's.
I'm sorry that she is not doing well:hugs You can try offering her vitamin therapy to see if that helps with the Wry Neck. Still not sure about the swollen jaw, unless it's from injury(?)
Give her 400IU Vitamin E daily along with 1/4 tablet B-Complex. You can find vitamins at places like Walmart or CVS. Keep her hydrated and do your best to get her to eat her chick starter. You can also give her a little egg that may interest her.

Please do keep us updated.

Can you get a picture of her standing naturally, so we can see her face better?
I'm having a hard time understanding what you mean by her neck won't go down. Does she have Wry Neck? Is the neck twisted?

You mention that her bottom jaw is swollen. A good photo of that would be helpful too.
Nothing inside the beak?

Well here she is! I've taken the suggestion of vitamins and I've also been gently taking her beak and bringing it up which seemed to help because the more I helped her stretch the more she was able toto move her neck. She has full range of motion and is back to her normal goofy self. Seems to come up to me a lot more now lol

I'm glad to hear she is doing better!
Thank you for the photo, she sure is cute!

Do you think she may have broken or cracked the bottom beak or even got a string wrapped around it? I see a crease on the lower beak and wonder what that is.
