Chicken wound

I posted a picture of my hens back the other day and now she has a giant hole there as well. I need to treat it with something.. What do you treat a wound with?

Neosporin, or a generic Triple Antibiotic Ointment. The kind without pain killer.

After the area has been treated with antibiotic ointment (and begin to heal), you can spray on Blu Kote or use a lineament oil to prevent other birds from picking on her.

in the meantime make sure you pack the area with Neosporin, or a generic Triple Antibiotic Ointment while you wait it is amazing how well they heal with just that.
