The breed is out of southeast Asia I believe. I've seen these birds in butcher shops in Chinatown, NYC if I'm correct. The black skinned birds are often hanging from meat carts. They freaked me out as a kid seeing them, but as an adult I am more freaked out seeing them alive!!
They must be show birds otherwise. I can't think of any reason that people would keep these! My biggest question for that video is who keeps such a huge flock of these??
