Hi, Cherry!  Been great, just kind of busy. As I said earlier, we did some bumblefoot surgery on our Welsummer yesterday. Glad to have that out of the way! How have you been?

Yikes, glad she's doing well now. I've been good! We are getting two Black copper maran pullets from a friend on Sunday. Super excited about that. She has been breeding them for a long time now and sells them all across the state, they are really well bred. How have your chicks been doing?

That's ALWAYS a good thing! So they're bred to the French standard?

They're doing wonderfully! Growing like weeds and getting prettier and friendlier every day. I've probably gotten 1,000 pictures of them lately to document their growth.

How are yours doing?

Oh, I hate when that happens. It's so frustrating.
Well we were going to hatch but we run the risk of getting a lot of boys, plus we don't have that much time right now and she had these pullets already.

Haha! Yes it ALWAYS is! Yes I believe so because she shows them too.
That's exactly right! Growing like weeds! And me too! My iPad keeps running out of storage space because of how many photos of chickens I have on it. They are good! Some are already almost as big as the adults! It's unbelievable how fast they grow up!
