Has anyone ordered the e-book or hardback versions of this book? It sounds interesting to me since it is suppose to be simple to understand but wondered if it would be worth the investment.

VERY DEFINITELY worth the cost! I've seen textbooks with less information, fewer photos and and fewer pages that cost more.

Very accessibly written for anyone who does not have a large understanding of genetics in general or chicken genes in particular, but with great detail on how the different genes work--in combination and singly.

I have a hard copy of this book. It is EXCELLENT! It is definitely worth the cost. I found it easy to understand, and all those color photos are a plus.
