My wife and I are just getting started with raising chickens for eggs, needless to say, we are newbies. I want to buy a premade coop and saw chickencondos.com. They look pretty good and was wondering if anyone here has a review for this company or can recommend a company. We are starting with 6 hens but buying a coop to house up to 15.

I just called and a nice woman answered and answered my questions, but I was wondering if someone more expert in coops than me could look at their products and see if they thought they were a good product.

I was thinking about the Ultimate 4 x 6 Barn Coop.

I'm glad you joined our "flock".

I haven't bought any coops from Chickencondos.com. But, I do know that a 4 x 6 coop would be too small for 15 chickens. It would work out fine for 6, however. Ideally, each chicken should have at least 4 square feet of inside space. These are flexible dimensions, as some birds do okay is smaller spaces, and some need even more room to prevent fighting, but it is a good general rule of thumb to follow.

Wyandottes7, I will definitely take that into consideration, as eventually we will have about 15 chickens and would rather they have more than enough room. I will be starting with only 6 chickens, to get our feet wet, so to say. When the time comes, I can then add another coop to make sure no one is crowded. Thank you very much for your input. It is very much appreciated.
