ChickenGuard Dogs...let's see em

Last time I tried to introduce my dog to the chickens he stuck his tail between his legs and tried to run away.

Do any of you have a Springer Spaniel? That's what I have, and I'm pretty sure she will try to eat the babies. For this reason, we are planning on putting a hot wire around the coop and run... But I'm just wondering if anybody has successfully let their Springer Spaniel near their girls....

My dogs could care less baout the chickens all they want is them to poop...... they gaurd the poo pile in the side yard......I will get a pic of that for ya'll!!!

Toby is a beagle mix mutt. He's about a year and a half old and the best chicken dog I've ever known.

eta - yes, his tail has a kink - it got run over by a tractor when he was just a pup.

I want to kiss him...on the lips. I love pit lips...they're just so darn cute!!!! Beautiful doggie!

Griffox, you say that now. Wait until he digs a hole under the fence and goes into your neighbors doggie door and procedues to bring ALL of their Christmas decoration to his own house in the yard. Every last one of them. He is grounded for life.
