I'm good. Still nervous about playing my violin though. The luthier said to just play it till it breaks now. So, me I'm thinking, what if it breaks when I'm in the middle of playing for someone? :p
It isn't like a string that could be replaced.... Oncetye bridge breaks, im done playing till it's fixed a week later. At least he suggested puttin a sponge in my case in the colder months when we have heat on in the house to give the violin some moisture. Hopefully I won't be flying through bridges $70 at a time :/

We had "surprise" muscovies. We weregiven a male and female, they bred and we got another 3 ducklings from them. But then they all got killed...

Believe me, I'm a bit hesitant to swim at a public pool too. Still gross in a way, even at home, but I like to swim, so I try not to think about it

My brother saw a study once where the reason your ees burn in the water is because it isn't the chlorine, it's the germs and bacteria

Awwwww....I'm so sorry. Scovies are beautiful!

Ha ha! Wow, your brother turned up some very useful information concerning the safety of pools. Well, I guess I'm never going swimming again!

I hope your situation is resolved soon! It sounds like violin playing and owning is trickier than I would have thought.

The upkeep is harder than the actual playing of the instrument though, it seems. :rollseyes
