It's a discussion thread for my article entered in the contest.
Bad news... Crow (Black Sumatra) is dead. Don't know what happened. She was fine yesterday... she even laid an egg!

Dad found her in the coop. I didn't get a chance to take her out and put her back in to mix up the pecking order

Now only four hens to one rooster... it's more important than ever that my EEs and BAs are all hens

I'm so sorry!!

Black Sumatras are so pretty.

Yeah... I just spent half the day yesterday getting pictures of her and the other rare ones... she was so pretty with her bright brown eyes and green tinted and glowing feathers in the sunlight....
