I asked my mom and she said because part of the reason is because people want another day off work cause Sunday is already a holiday. Kinda strange...........

Lol. I was stuck on the palm Sunday story..... How he rode a Colt.... And the colt was so young that it was still with it mother. But it was to show how he could "gentle" an untamed Colt. Pretty neat story behind that.

Pastor Jerry loves elaborating on that every Palm Sunday. What mere mortal could:
1. Ride a feisty colt that was completely green.
2. Not crush the poor colt with the weight of an adult riding him too soon!
Pastor seriously always breaks into a laughing fit whenever he says that.
