Does anyone know if my hen will recover? She hatched a chick last summer and was a great mom. A chicken snake ate the baby. She has not been the same since. She has alienated herself and hasn't layed since. I have to make her go in the hen house at night. I feel so bad for her she seems depressed.

Poor girl. It's hard to say how long it would take her to recover. Try to feed her some snacks with the group, maybe she'll start to feel more comfortable.
