1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I had chickens for years as a young adult but didn’t know how to deal with predators. I’m trying again this year!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 6 chickens right now
3 svart hona and 3 silverrudd (swedish isbars)
im looking into hedemora and Shetland hen for my next chicks!
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
the sounds and all the wiggles they make!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I love plants! I have a very big garden on 1/2 an acre of land
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I live with my brother and we have 3 cats that are annoyed at how much attention the chickies get
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Ive gotten A LOT of advice from people over the years here but this is the first time I’ve joined!
