The Brahmas, Orpingtons, and Dorkings are not ready. Way too young. The Hamburg may be ready if she gets red in her face soon. She looks closer than any of the others, but it's always a gamble as to which ones will be more mature.

The silkies...you'll have to ask someone else. Silkies ain't my thang...

What is the black cockerel behind the silkie?

I agree that they're too young right now, but the fair is from August 27 to Sept 7th.... so I was hoping. Do they at least show potential? Those blue orps are practically babies, so I didn't think they'd be old enough.

He's a black Orpington. Pretty boy, but he just started flashing some red/brown in the hackles and he has a violet tinge instead of green.

I have a blue from the same hatch that I swore was a girl, but now I'm not sure.

Type is missing in Chickenmonster, and Rafiki is too young. Oscar, the white boy and the blue pullet are worth showing. Oscar looks young, but hopefully will mature enough in the next 6 weeks to be ready--really awesome splash

Thanks! I hope we made some good choices... have to get the entry in by midnight. It'll be an interesting & educational experience for us!
