Chickens and bunnies; living together?

Can chickens and rabbits share the same quarters? I just saw this in the news:

I have heard of some people who raise rabbits suspended from the ceiling in the coop. I have my rabbits outside of the coop area. There are some diseases that rabbits and chickens share, so it is extremely important to monitor the health of both.
