Chickens and Cinnamon

Okay - I usually sprinkle cinnamon on the inside of my jack o' lantern. Is it okay to give it to the chickens tomorrow? I didn't find cinnamon on the list of "don't feed to chickens" but still wasn't sure.
Anybody have any clue?

I have no idea whether it's acceptable or not, but I'm curious as to why you put cinnamon inside your jack-o-lantern. Fragrance?

It's actually good for their digestive systems (and ours).
