Chickens and Ducks dying!

No I dont use a heat lamp I just use straw and beading. Thanks for the advice!

Yes they both have 2 vents we usually keep open unless it is too cold.

Show a pic of your coop and vents.
My worry is too much moisture trapped in the coop, freezing their lungs.
Is there frost on any windowd?

Marek's crossed my mind too but it would be pretty unusual for so many mature hens (3years old) to get it and die in quick succession.

I am so sorry I forgot to mention that 5 of them were actually about a year old but we got them from Tractor Supply as well as the rest.

Just to clarify .. have you had all of your ducks and chickens for a while or were the 1 year old's from the tractor supply recently added?

Yes they were recently added a couple of months ago.

They all get the same food and I keep their feed in a feed room were no animals can get in, their are no mice and no water or mold could have gotten in the feed buckets

I am wondering if they may have bought something in with them which has been dormant but sorry, I am not an expert when it comes to what ails chickens and ducks. However, it is good to know for others who are trying to find the cause.

One other thing that comes to mind is lice or mites. Probably not the right temperature for them at the moment and quick, multiple losses would be strange, but probably worth ruling those out also.
