Last year was my first for keeping my birds and we had a mild winter. This winter is supposed to be cold and snowey. My birds are in a 10x10 chain link dog pen w/secure top and floor. Will they be ok in the cold? I'm in south jersey so it rarely gets lower then the 20s.I plan on getting a headed water feeder thingy. They have a wooden coop that they can cuddle in, but the chickens prefer to sit on a big perch (small tree trunk) we have in the pen. Will they go in the coop if it gets cold?
