Yep you can I have around 20ish chooks and 3 of them roosters and they are cooped together with my two runner ducks and they get along fine (although since ive gotten ducks the coop is a lot messier

)

Yes, but I don't house mine together. 2 of my ducks are quite aggressive to my chickens and I wouldn't dream of trying to house them together without major fights. The free range my backyard during the day and commingle very well but when one of my ducks has had enough she will chase and bite my chickens. Today she had one my chickens by her tail feathers and pulled her out of the nesting box and won't let her come near it to lay her egg. There is enough room for everyone to get away from one another so usually there are no issues. My ducks where here first and I then added the chickens.

well my ducks probably go so well with chickens because they are much quieter they do mix with my chickens some times (like when theres food etc) but they usually keep together away from the chooks

Okay thanks! Just wondering because I have had rumors about drakes chicken hens with a result of the chickens dying. Will you end up with hybrids if breeding?

Yes, a drake can kill a female chicken.

I only have females of everything for this exact reason. Drakes can injure or kill a chicken if they mate them.

so as needlessjunk and elly21 have said yes drakes can. but I have never see my drake (or had any trouble) mate my chickens although he is fairly quite but more aggressive drakes might.

Yes this is probably the easiest way to go but you could just try putting them together and if they don't get along separate them
