Chickens and Emus oh my!

I know the feeling all too well 😕

I have two that were supposed to hatch yesterday and not a peep from the eggs. Suspecting that they quit at some time during incubation. I would give it a couple days and then check them.

Have you done a cool down test? Sometimes it’s easy to tell when an emu embryo isn’t alive if the entire egg cools down a lot.

Also forgot to mention, when you see a wiggle you’ll know. There’s no second guessing. Also, if they’re that far along in incubation, they don’t just wiggle, they rock back and forth.
