chickens and quail together

If I get a brooder and hatch a batch of quail, Do you think my silkies will mess with them when I let them go in the back yard?

My hope is that the quail will stay in the yard so I can see them runaround from time to time And that they will get along with my silkies.

Any theories?

My sister put a quail in with her chickens, which she has more silkies than anything, and he got to where he went in and roosted with them at night as well as hanging out with them even while free-ranging.
