I am confused by some of the posts on here. I would like to move our rabbits, who have been housed indoors, out to our chicken coop/run...Seems like they would be able to run more, and the coop will be heated in the winter, so I'm assuming it will be safe for my lionhead and mini lop. I realize that they could dig their way out, so I plan on only letting them have access to the run when they are supervised, other than that they will have "run" of the coop. I would like to get them out of the house, because they are very messy...They do use a litterbox, but dig in it, and that sends their poop flying everywhere...Ewww! My DH complains about the smell constantly, even though the box is being changed daily. Plus, indoors they don't get to hop about the way they would outside. My chickens are only 10 weeks old, i think they would be at a good age to introduce to the rabbits. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
