Chickens and roosters missing back feathers?

I have several hens missing feathers on there back by their tails? I saw one hen picking at her own blad area? Also I have a rooster with a bright red bald spot under it’s tail? Any advice is welcome? Any remedies?

I have 8 hens, 7 are RIR and one Barred Rock. All of my RIR have large spots like this, red and occasionally bleed. I’m following this to see what the resolution is. I’ve treated for mites, no difference. I’ve given them more space to partially free range and it seems to now look worse!

I have several chickens that are a year old that look like this. I haven’t spotted mites, keep the coop clean, they have plenty of space, and haven’t noticed them pecking each other (but could be). Following for other ideas.
