Hi there, I have chickens of all sorts and just picked up two turkeys to join my funny farm.... My question is are they always more shaky and clumsy ? I'm scared they're not eating or drinking- and also I have learned they can't live with the chickens but can we let them free range together?

Hi and welcome to BYC. Sorry, i know nothing about keeping turkeys and i would suggest that you post your question on the "turkey" thread where the experts will be able to help you out.

Did you get young turkey poults or full grown adults? Very young turkeys often benefit from having a chick as a tutor. It will show them where feed and water is and where is home.

It is my understanding that to can keep them together until they start eating grass. It is the Cecil worm that kills the turkeys.
