chickens and turkeys

Hi folks-
This is not an emergency, or even necessarily a problem, but this seemed like the thread to ask the question. My chickens free range and they have been hanging out every now and then with some wild turkeys that frequent our property. I've heard that chickens should not be kept with domestic turkeys because of disease transmission concerns, but is this anything to worry about with wild turkeys? Their contact is probably only minimal. Thanks for any advice.

I would think it is not good for them to socialize with turkeys of any sort. If there's any way to avoid the turkeys, I would do it.
