Chickens aren't layin' Need suggestions.

We bought our chickens at the end of March. They were hatched early in Febuary. They have not laid one egg. We have even tried laying pellets. We started letting them out to free graze about 2 weeks ago. What are we doing wrong or what can we do.

They are just now going on 6 months = 24 wks

Patience. They will come into lay when ready.

FYI layer pellets don't cause chickens to lay. They simply have higher calcium.

I'm extremely lucky if any of my chickens lay by 6 months. What breeds do you have? Some are much slower to come into lay than others.

I’m curious if your chickens ever started lying. We literally got our chickens the same time on March 26. It’s now October 19 and still not one egg. We added them to some of our older birds who are going through molt but surprised we haven’t seen an egg
