Chickens ate roof tar.

Ok Dh was putting new shingles on the coop when he droped a small glob of roofing tar. Before he could even blink it was gone. Not sure if they ate it or just rolled in it. My question is... It has been 24 hours am I safe t assume that they are ok?

My best advice is to just keep an eye on them. Hopefully it'll get flushed out of their systems safely. Good luck.
