Hello from MO! We ordered chicks (Easter eggers) last year for the first time. Received 16 in June. As they grew, realized we have a rooster. In January, ordered Silkies, as they are so cute and docile. Now have 11 silkies in a brooder. New discovery today out in the chicken coop: 7 little chicks under a hen! Now have them moved into a new brooder. All the Easter Eggers and silkies were vaccinated for Merek's disease at the hatchery before we received them. Hoping to find out if these new chicks will ever be able to be mixed with the vaccinated ones, once they graduate to the outdoors. Thanks, in advance, to anyone who can help!
