Chickens comb is purple?

I too had a brown leghorn go broody about 4 weeks ago. Unfortunately something got to her eggs on or about day 18. She lost them all. She is only 6 months old

No I live in the northern hemisphere it's in the 60s and 40s daily temperature 40s at night 60s during the day
