That looks so yummy, I think when the weather gets cold here, I'll have to try it with my girls and Mr. Frito, too! Wow, the temperature here was 82 degrees at 2 a.m.! However, it is now 78 degrees at eight in the morning!

BTW, yesterday as I sat outside with my girls, I noticed one of my hens had a blueish tipped comb. She was very ill two weeks ago with a crop impaction, and had recovered. But these are the little things we have to take a closer look at. I picked her up, and her crop was very full and hard! She is a bit of a piglet...anyways, I massaged her crop firmly, but gently. Then, I gave her some of my herbal remedy orally, with a needless syringe. This morning her crop was empty and her comb was back to a nice red. What a difference a day really makes! Giving that extra attention can also make a difference. What was that old saying? Oh yeah, "Prevention is worth a pound of cure."

God Bless!:caf
