Chickens Combs

will my hens comb be REALLY red when she lays or will it be a bright pink? I just wanna make sure. And my barred rock hen is very very red but has no comb or anything at all...whats wrong?

The combs and wattles will change color with mood. When my chickens are upset or excited they turn Dark red. I also noticed they do that when it's hot and have read they will turn red around the time of laying.
