Yes, she eats all of that twice a day, plus has scratch, seed and dried mealworms available all the time. Sometimes I add rice or plain chopped spaghetti to it. She eats bugs daily and I buy live mealworms sometimes. She lays an egg every day though. The vet said to give her whatever she wants to eat, so that's what I have been doing. She's about 1 1/2 years old now, it's been a year since I found her.

I'd strongly recommend you get some chicken feed, stuff like this classifies as treats, especially the rice and pasta. This doesn't have all the essential vitamins, minerals, not to mention protein they really, really need. (Like at least 16% daily)
It's obvious your vet doesn't know anything about poultry.

Your vet apparently has no training in the proper care of chickens.

Your flock should be given a high-quality commercial feed appropriate for their age and stage of development free-choice with treat foods limited to 10% of their diet.

Would you listen to a Dr. that said the same thing regarding a child?

Feed her chicken feed. She will want to eat it because that is what will be there to eat.

I think 16% is too low for birds that are not kept in tight confinement. I am probably an outlier on that thought tho.

So dinner is corn, peas, mealworms and maggot mix. And what is that other green stuff on the poor thing's plate?
