Please me know if you Had this issues and How you resolved it.

My chickens, ever they started laying eggs, refuse to eat commercial chow. I've tried 6 brands, in both pellet and crumble.
They come running for "Scratch" and anything else I toss in the garden, but never the chow. Eggs with strong shells,

What am I missing? thanks

You should cut back on the scraps and scratch, chickens are smart if they know you are bring them treats they will wait for them. Try only doing scratch on rare occasions.

You can supplement up to 10% of their diet with a scratch grain, like Purina

Scratch Grains, to encourage natural pecking and feeding instincts. A good rule of thumb is to provide a diet that is 90% complete feed and 10% treats and snacks (including scratch grains).
