I noticed yesterday when checking on my chickens that alot of them were doing this weird almost gag. They don't open their beaks really when they do it. But they do this funny head Bob to the side and then scrape their beaks on the floor as if trying to clear something. I wouldn't be too alarmed if it was just one, but it's almost all my chickens doing it.

And I noticed today my little rooster started having a hard time balancing and was getting picked on. Idk if his reason is due to an injury or what. But I am mainly concerned as to what in the world is going on my girls. I tried looking down their beaks and see nothing out of the ordinary really.
Their poop is watery though. More watery than usual.

What are you feeding your birds, including treats?
Do you provide a source of grit (crushed granite)?
How old are they?
Have you added any new birds to your flock in the last 30days?

Sounds like crop adjusting, but if you have multiple birds doing the same thing all of a sudden, then it would be a good idea to look inside their beak for lesions, canker, yellow/white cheesy patches. Check crops first thing in the morning before they eat/drink just to make sure they are empty.
While you're looking, inspect for lice/mites and inside the ears too.

Rooster having a hard time balancing - who is picking on him - hens or another rooster? Losing balance is concerning too - look in his ears, inside his beak, check his crop, look over his legs and feet very well (bottom of feet too).

Photos of birds, poop and anything else you wish to share are always welcome.

This is where a video would be very helpful. If you're able, and this is something the chickens are doing on a regular basis, try to record the action and post to You Tube. Then copy the link and paste it here on this thread. The video will automatically embed and can then be viewed here.

Do your chickens have access to grit? The neck motion is something chickens do that are experiencing crop discomfort, and lack of grit can be one reason for this.

Have you noticed this getting worse since you first noticed the chickens doing it? Is the little roo becoming worse?

What are you feeding in the way of regular feed as well as treats? Have your chickens been vaccinated for Marek's?

I'm not home but when I get home I'll try getting a video.

All the chickens and other roosters are picking on the little guy. I checked everything and he looks normal. Some I'm wondering if it's a head injury maybe.

I haven't feed my chickens anything but their feed. I try giving them grit and they will not eat it.
They have not been vaccinated for Marek's.

I've noticed it isn't really getting worse with the head movement/gag.
They are all anywhere from 1-3 years old. I haven't added any new chickens to the flock.

I did get a pot belly pig about 3 weeks ago though and found a dead chicken in his house last week. Don't know if that could have anything to do with what's going on.
