Chickens & Ducks

We began our new adventure with chickens in April of 2018 when my 9 year old daughters class hatched chicks in their classroom. We started our first flock with 18 chicks. We have Buff Orpington, Road Island Reds, & Black Sex Links. In May of 2017 we began raising 2 Mallard ducklings as my 19 year old requested these as her birthday gift. 1 male, Quackers & 1 female, Mallory. I have found myself on backyard chicken ALL the time searching for answers to our questions through out the entire journey. I am a mom of 3 daughters...ages 19, 10, & 7. My husband is a diesel mechanic for a very large poultry farm. I have sold Mary Kay Cosmetics for 20+ years winning 9 Mary Kay cars.
