Chickens dying

So today as we were looking at them, we noticed several of them seem to have pale looking tips on their combs. Are they sick? Does this indicate worms or parasites?
It can be due to several different things.

If the rest of the comb looks healthy, and only the tips are pale, you could be seeing a tiny bit of cold damage.

If the entire comb is a bit pale, then it is more likely a sign of illness or anemia. Often anemia is due to too many parasites, internal or external or both.

Many of my birds get whitish combs during winter. Color will leave the combs and they shrink back a bit in winter. One purpose of the comb is to displace heat, something they don't need to do so combs shrink.

Some white at the tips can indicate mild frostbite damage too. More damage shows up as black, that tissue will die and eventually slough off.

great description

If you can monitor you remaining birds closely for the immediate future look for any signs of illness or abnormal appearance/behavior. If there is something spreading you want to catch it... No, YOU don't- please take appropriate precautions just in case, if you are going to be at risk of unsafe exposures. Did you examine the deceased birds for clues? I had a snake in my coop looking for mice... Got bitten, fortunately not venomous but had it been, it could quickly kill a bird.
